Executive creative director at TBWA/Media Arts Lab, Scott Trattner, is leaving his post and heading over to 72andSunny to fill the same role.
One of Apple’s creative talents for the past decade, Trattner is best known for creating the classic and long-running “Get a Mac” campaign. Since 2004 he has worked on the creative development of dozens of promotion ideas for Apple products, including the iPod, iPod touch, iPod nano, iPhone, Mac, iTunes, iCloud, and iPad.
TBWA declined to comment on his departure, but Trattner said of his move: “I’ve known John [Boiler], Glenn [Cole] and Matt [Jarvis] for a long time and have admired their work and approach to creativity. I’m inspired to be joining 72andSunny at such an exciting time of growth and endless potential.”
72andSunny has also promoted two creative directors, Jason Norcross and Frank Hahn, to join Trattner in hew new role. Together they will be creative excellence among the agency’s clients, including K-Swiss, Target, Activision, and Carl’s Junior/Hardee’s.
72andSunny is thrilled for Trattner to come on board. CEO John Boiler said “His [Trattner’s] work has not only shaped on of the biggest brands in the world, but redefined industries.” Trattner’s new role means he will get to work with a number of different clients rather than just focusing on a single one as he did with Apple.
