Scantomat, a coffee machine company, has introduced a new coffee machine that is controlled via iOS devices. The machine goes under the name Top Brewer and is not only convenient, but it’s also a work of art. The device itself is housed in a cabinet, giving it a sexy minimalist look. In fact, everything except for the faucet is housed inside of the countertop. The device also has a sleek keyboard that can be used to select a coffee type.
The coffee machine can brew all sorts of drinks. Not only can it brew drip coffee, it also makes espresso and froths milk. Because of this, you can make lattes, macchiatos and other espresso-powered drinks with the machine.
Scantomat’s iOS app allows you to choose your drink and customize it as well. For instance, you can choose how much milk you would like to have in your drink among other things. If you run out of coffee beans, the Top Brewer app lets you order more. The app also looks to be well designed and works with your coffee machine by way of a Bluetooth connection.
So, how much does one of these machines cost? While the Top Brewer app may be free, the machine itself will run you a whopping £6,000. If you’d like to see one in action, check out the Next Web‘s video on the machine.
It looks like there really is an app for just about anything.
