A speaker dock needs to be equal parts beautiful and audio nirvana to make it into my house. When I saw the Denon Cocoon Speaker Dock pass through my email today, I knew it already met half of the criteria. It didn’t take long. This dock looks amazing. As for how it sounds, well, we have no freaking clue. Reviews seem quite favorable currently. There seems to be concerns about audio distortion when the thing is cranked to eleven, but on the whole, moderate levels seem to produce great sounds.
The Cocoon includes AirPlay, and a built-in dock so you can charge your devices (unless you have an iPad mini or iPhone 5), and weighs in at $499.00. As always, you can pick this beauty up on Amazon.
