jOBS, the new Steve Jobs movie featuring Ashton Kutcher, has been given an April 2013 release date. Beforehand, the film will be shown to a limited audience at the Sundance Film Festival. Sundance starts January 17th in Park City, Utah. The film will close the show.
If you’re unaware, jOBS is an independent film directed by Joshua Michael Stern. The film shows the daily life of Steve Jobs from 1971 into the 2000s. The film is very dialog driven, so it should portray a pretty interesting picture of the late entrepreneur’s life. The film makers behind jOBS were even able to shoot part of the film in the garage of Steve Job’s childhood house, which served as the birthplace for Apple.
It should be a good one. Can’t wait to check it out.
