Microsoft is hoping to increase the number of people who subscribe to Office 365 by offering a 12 months Xbox Live Gold subscription for free. Anyone who buys and activates the productivity suite, which includes Office 365 Home Premium or Office 365 University, for an annual subscription before September 28 will be eligible to redeem the offer, except if you’re in the U.S.
You’ll then be able to pick up an Xbox Live code when you sign in with your Microsoft account email and password during the initial Office 365 setup.
Sadly, if you’re in the U.S. you won’t be able to take advantage of the deal. Australia, Canada, most of Europe and regions in Asia will be eligible for the offer though.
This is a pretty tempting offer. You can get more details about it on the Microsoft website.
