I’d say my little Twitter Apple community is about 25/75% old schoolers to more recent Apple converts. For you recent converts, Apple really only became part of your mindshare once they were “cool”. For people like Matt, I and others, we were Apple users/lovers back when you were shamed for it. I worked in an advertising agency from 1995-2000. Somewhere in the middle of my employment there I had a very cocky IT guy tell me emphatically that he couldn’t wait to take my Quadra 800 off my desk and replace it with a PC as Apple was going down! I’m glad Apple had enough sense to bring back Steve and let him give us the Apple we know and love today.
