A new project by Kibardin Design, dubbed the Bat, is currently under testing at the moment, and is being described as a levitating wireless computer mouse.
Apparently the Bat floats by itself at 40mm when not in use, and comes down to 10mm beneath the weight of your hand. It works the same as any plain old, non-levitating computer mouse, and consists of a base, mouse pad, and floating mouse with magnet ring.
Kibardin Design’s website explains that the goal of this levitating mouse is to prevent and treat Carpal tunnel syndrome, which is something that many active computer users are prone to.
Sounds pretty cool. Any thoughts on whether or not this product will ever actually hit the market? Or if it’s an outright hoax?
