With the release of the next-generation iPhone reportedly just around the corner, retailers and carriers are beginning to drop prices on current generation iPhones. On Tuesday it was announced that Sprint was lowering the iPhone 4S price to $149.99, a $50 price reduction. Now Apple Stores will match Sprint’s sale price on the iPhone 4/4S.
It has been revealed that Apple’s retail stores have been give the green light to match discounted prices from approved major retailers and carriers like Sprint when approached by customers and asked to do so. Apple will discount the iPhone 4/4S models by $49.01 upon request to bring pricing down to:
- $348.99 for the 64GB iPhone 4S
- $249.99 for the 32GB iPhone 4S
- $149.99 for the 16GB iPhone 4S
- $49.99 for the 8GB iPhone 4
Unfortunately, this price matching policy is only in place in Apple’s retail stores and is not available for online orders. So if you’re planning to go the Apple Store to buy an iPhone 4 or 4S, make sure to ask for the discounted price!
