Apple updated its iTunes U platform last week during the company’s education keynote. Previously, universities were able to create audio and video content for lectures, but that’s as far as the program extended. With the new update, schools can now manage their courses, syllabus, and other class-by-class information from directly within iTunes U.
Today, Apple has published some guides to help assist professors and faculty in getting their iTunes U information created and implemented. Included on the webpage is step-by-step information on how to access the iTunes U Course Manager, iTunes U course creation guidelines, information on creating an instructor profile, course, and podcast with Garageband, amongst other things.
If you’re in the education sector, you my want to poke around a bit. There’s a wealth of information.
