While Apple has yet to give iTunes U an iOS 7 design overhaul, it has now finally given the educational app its first update in nearly a year.
The update brings the ability to pull-to-refresh for course updates, bringing it in line with all other modern Apple apps. It also receives a few other minor enhancements, which can be seen in the complete update description below:
- Checks for course updates when you pull to refresh the notepad
- Resolves an issue that may prevent courses from updating
- Fixes a problem where iTunes U may unexpectedly quit when opening the Catalog repeatedly
- Improves support for Arabic, French, German, Greek, Italian, Russian, and Spanish
iTunes U provides users with a massive catalogue of both free and paid for online courses from some of the world’s top college and universities. It’s available for free on the App Store.
