There have been biographies on Steve Jobs in the past, but none have been given his official blessing. Heck, most of the time these biographies on the market never even got around to interviewing Steve Jobs himself. Some have even caused Apple to pull a company’s books from their store shelves. John Wiley & Sons upset Jobs so much with their book, titled iCon, that Apple pulled every Wiley & Sons book from their store shelves.
That’s all about to change though. Steve Jobs will be getting an authorized biography in 2012.
The book will be titled “iSteve: The Book of Jobs” and will be published in early 2012. The book is being written by Walter Isaacson, and it has Steve’s blessing. Isaacson has written best-sellers about Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein in the past. He’s also held two executive positions at CNN and Time magazine.
Put it this way—Isaacson is more than qualified to write a biography on Steve Jobs.
