Alongside the highly anticipated iPad mini, Apple is also expected to announce a new 13-inch MacBook Pro and a refreshed Mac mini model. The specs of these devices seem to have already leaked online.
The new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display will reportedly be available in three configurations, all with 8GB of RAM. The base model is expected to start at around $1599 or $1699. The three models are:
- 2.5 GHz, 128GB of Flash storage, 8GB of RAM
- 2.5 GHz, 256 GB of Flash storage, 8GB of RAM
- 2.9 GHz, 512GB of Flash storage, 8GB of RAM
Apple is planning to release two standard configurations of the Mac mini, and a third model running OS X server. The two new models will be receiving upgraded RAM options. Here are the details on the upgraded model’s processor, storage capacity, and base RAM configurations:
- 2.5 GHz dual-core, 4GB RAM, 500GB Hard drive
- 2.3 GHz quad-core, 4GB RAM, 1TB Hard drive
- Server: 2.3 GHz quad-core 4GB of RAM, 2TB Hard drive
It’s also being reported that there will be RAM upgrades available up to 16GB from Apple.
