Since its release, Apple’s MacBook Pro with Retina display has seen increasingly longer shipping estimates, reaching four weeks only days after it was released. This newest MacBook is definitely one of the more popular laptops from Apple, which is why there has been such high demand, resulting in longer wait times. All this has changed since Saturday, though, as wait times for the MacBook Pro with Retina display have been reduced to only one or two weeks in the Apple Store.
This is a definite improvement over the previously longer two to three weeks that consumers had to wait. With such high demand for a product, it’s difficult to have enough supply to meet demand, but it looks like Apple is finally starting to catch up with orders.
With all the hype over the first MacBook with Retina, rumors have recently surfaced about a 13-inch version of the popular MacBook Pro. The rumored device could feature a 2.9 GHZ Intel “Ivy Bridge” processor, an i7-33520M, and a larger battery than the 6,580 mAh battery found in the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. A 13-inch version has not been confirmed by Apple at this point.
