At Monday’s WWDC event, Apple introduced the latest addition to the MacBook Pro lineup: the Retina MacBook Pro. This computer features a ton of cool new additions with the most notable being the 5.1 million pixel display with a resolution of 2880×1800.
Today, Apple has began airing the new MacBook Pro’s television commercial, titled “Every Dimension”, as well as offering it for viewing online. The commercial shows the new MacBook Pro performing many processor and graphic intensive tasks such as editing and rendering video and photo editing in Aperture. When watching the commercial, you can definitely tell that Apple is trying to demonstrate the new MacBook Pro’s quad-core Ivy Bridge CPU and ultra high resolution screen. We have embedded the commercial above for your viewing pleasure.
Apple has also uploaded a new OS X Mountain Lion video to their YouTube channel. This video demonstrates the power of Mountain Lion and shows off a ton of new features such as Notification Center, social sharing and more. While this video won’t be airing on TV, you can find it embedded below.
If you weren’t already aware, OS X Mountain Lion will be available for $20 as an upgrade from either OS X Lion or Snow Leopard next month. However, if you purchase a new Mac from now until OS X Mountain Lion launches, you will be upgraded free of charge.
