Alfred 0.9 to ship with preference syncing via Powerpack

The great little productivity app Alfred — which we reviewed back in February — is currently at version 0.8.2, but the developers have been hard at work on version 0.9. Today, the team announced that the upcoming build of the program will allow Powerpack users to sync preferences with Dropbox.

Currently the team has the following items syncing:

  • Themes (but not currently used theme so you can use different themes per Mac)
  • Snippets (but not Clip history as this db gets huge and causes sync conflicts)
  • Custom Searches
  • Shell Scripts

I love Alfred, and use it at home and at work. Being able to sync some of my settings should make the app even better. If you haven’t purchased the Powerpack yet, now is a great time to do so. You can find it here.
