TwelveSouth’s famous BookBook wallet case was and still is a favorite for many iPhone 4/4S users. The case looks like a small leather book and allows users to store credit cards, debit cards as well as cash in the wallet portion of the case for easy access. And while some of us had to give up our BookBooks with the release of the iPhone 5, we won’t have to wait long as today TwelveSouth announced that they will be bringing BookBook to the iPhone 5.
TwelveSouth has announced that their updated version of the BookBook will be offered in two colors and will finally feature a camera cutout. The following was posted to TwelveSouth’s website regarding the BookBook for iPhone 5:
We couldn’t be more excited about the latest brilliant mobile device from Apple and we’ve received many questions about availability of a BookBook for iPhone made just for the iPhone 5.
We are, indeed, hard at work on a BookBook for iPhone 5. It will ship in November. It will be available in both Classic Black and Vintage Brown. And finally (no doubt the news you’ve been waiting for), no need to slide your iPhone up to take a picture anymore. BookBook for iPhone 5 will include a camera hole!
Unfortunately it’s a bit too early to order your BookBook for iPhone 5; however, you can submit your information here to be added to TwelveSouth’s email alert list. When you do this, you’ll be the first to know when the case is released to the general public.
