Leo Laporte has broken the news on Twitter — Tomlinson Holman may be working for Apple in the near future. It’s rumored that Apple’s looking to upgrade their audio division by hiring Holman, creator of Lucasfilm’s THX. If true, Apple products are about to sound a whole lot better in the near future.
The rumor started in a tweet, and is now being reported on GigaOm and The Next Web, although neither website seems to have independently verified the claim.
So as of now, the news is hinging on the veracity of a single tweet. That tweet though, is from one of the most connected people in the industry.
