The New Yorker Finally Goes iPhone

Condé Nast has finally rolled out an iPhone version of The New Yorker. The magazine is now iPhone optimized, and ready to fight for your attention on bus rides alongside Angry Birds, Tiny Wings, and taking hipster photos with Instagram on the way to work.

If you’ve perused The New Yorker on your iPad, you’re getting the same stuff for the iPhone. That said, if you have no idea what you’re getting into, Lena Duham, Jon Hamm, and Alex Karpovsky take you through the new iPhone app in a bizarre talk-show parody.

It’s pretty funny. Give it a watch.

Anyone who downloads the iPhone application will be treated to the latest version of the magazine for free. If you already subscribe on the iPad, you’ll also be able to access your subscription from the iPhone, as well as magazine archives on the web.
