According to French publication website Nowhereelse.fr, new photos have emerged from China that show the supposed back shielding for the new iPhone 5. The images reportedly first appeared on a Chinese-language website called iColorOS, which has since gone offline.
Other parts of the iPhone 5 that are seen in the photos include the front panels, Home buttons, and a SIM tray, as well as the protective glass cover, internal sensors, and external buttons like the volume control buttons that have been seen in previous reports.
With so many emerging photos showing alleged iPhone 5 parts, it could support rumors that Apple really is in the production phase of the new iPhone. With the expected September 12th announcement, it would definitely make sense for the iPhone to be in production to be ready for a late September release date.
With leaked photos like this, the excitement and anticipation of the new iPhone only grows. There’s no way to know if these parts are really for the iPhone 5 until September. That being said, is it September yet?
