After iOS 6 was officially released to the general public yesterday, 15 percent of eligible iOS users have already updated their devices just 24 hours after launch. This is pretty impressive compared to iOS 5 and Android Jelly Bean as iOS 5 took almost five days to reach 20 percent adoption while Jelly Bean took roughly two months to reach 1.5 percent.
These results come from the data analytics firm Chitika who has been a reputable source in the past. In fact, when cross-referenced with Chartboost, another data analytics firm, they were given the same results.
If you haven’t updated to iOS 6 yet, what are you waiting for?!
