Since its release, Dropbox has become quite the hit, and a go-to for storage needs. It even hit 100 million users last month. The app has recently been updated, bringing a couple of new features and improvements. One new feature is the ability to stream video files from your Dropbox. The update also adds the much anticipated support for password-protected Microsoft Office documents, a feature that is only available with iOS 6.
The update additionally includes various bus fixes and performance improvements as well as new language support for Italian and Iberian Spanish. These new features are available for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.
In previous updates, Dropbox got AirPrint support and enhanced sharing features, as well as the ability to automatically upload photos and videos from your Camera roll. A new API was also recently introduced that lets app developers put up a dialog box for users to access their Dropbox photos, videos, and other documents.
