Okay, now he’s just showing off. First it started with an multi-tasking bar concept that became a jailbreak tweak, then it was a nifty Do Not Disturb toggle from within Notification Center, and now the Auxo designer has created a new alert concept that is built to show off a Do Not Disturb concept, but let’s be realistic, it could be implemented for any kind of alert notification.
It’s simple, elegant, and pretty much exactly the kind of thing we’ve come to expect from Sentry, the man behind all these amazing concepts. The last time we wrote about Sentry I mentioned that Apple should look into giving this guy a job. It still stands.
There’s not much else to say, except, maybe, check out the video above. It’s pretty obvious that the concept could be used for a lot of the alerts we already get. Hopefully this kind of style is something Jony Ive is looking to implement now that he’s in charge of the design of iOS.
