School is barely out for the summer, but Apple is already getting ready for the next year. Today Apple has launched its annual Back to School Promotion, offering gift cards for qualifying Apple product purchases and, for the first time ever, Apple has included the iPhone in the promotion.
Apple is offering a $100 App Store gift card with every new Mac purchase, or a $50 card for an iPad purchase and the same goes for the iPhone.
Apple’s promotion isn’t just for online purchases though. You can take advantage of the promotion through Apple retail stores and even authorized campus stores. You must be a college student, a student accepted to college, a parent of a college student, or a faculty of staff member to qualify for the promotion, which runs from today to September 6, 2013.
Apple’s Back to School Promotion also includes education pricing when you buy a new Mac. You could save up to $200 depending on which one you choose. Unfortunately, education pricing isn’t available for iPads and iPhones.
Gift cards can be used in the App Store, Mac App Store, iTunes Store and iBookstore. Head over to Apple’s website to get more details on the offer.
