A new Kickstarter project is looking to add to a number of sensors already available for your iOS device. The Thermodo will bring a miniature hardware based thermometer to your iPhone. The device will attach to your phone in the same way that a Square scanner will, via the 3.5 mm audio jack on the phone.
The sensor will obviously give you more adequate readings about your surroundings than relying on any of the 30 brand new weather apps that were released in the last 30 days. Trust us, there were close to 30.
The project is looking to raise a paltry $35,000 for the project on Kickstarter. If you’re into knowing just how little clothing people will be wearing on a daily basis, then this little device is right up your alley. Or, you know, if you want to know if you should leave the tuque at home.
