Apple has (almost) always had some of the coolest ads around. However, Apple’s latest ad in Time Magazine has brought their print ads to a whole new awesomesauce level. The ad is located on the back of the front cover of Time and shows an iPad mini with the same Time cover displayed on the iPad’s screen. The truth of the matter is that the advertisement is bang-on accurate. You could actually read Time magazine on your iPad mini and it would be almost half the size.
This minimal iPad mini ad shows Apple’s selling technique: they show a product’s most important features using colorful, interesting ads instead of telling consumers about every last feature a device has to offer via a list of boring bullet points. Maybe Samsung should take a few notes!
