Yesterday, Blizzard announced a whole slew of new character class skills for the upcoming Diablo III release. When they delayed the release again a few weeks ago, they promised us it was because they would be adding a bunch of additional features, and this looks like the powers to be at Blizzard are following through on their promise.
On its official website, Blizzard has posted a number of videos that showcase the new skills in all of their glory. Some of the new skills include a few wicked AOE spells for the caster classes (like Rain of Vengeance for Demon Hunters), defensive skills like Serenity for Monks, and a whole bunch of single target offensive attacks and spells for Barbarians, Wizards, and Witch Doctors. You can watch videos and get some real in-depth breakdowns of each new skill on the website, and I suggest you check it out. There’s some really exciting stuff in there.
Unfortunately, the skills aren’t available in game for the beta players, and it doesn’t look like they ever will be. Regardless, it’s something new to get excited about, and it brings us one step closer to the finished game.
