New Union Square Apple Store Could Have Giant Waterfall Wall, $726 Court Yard Chairs

Apple has put together an in-depth document that highlights its plans for a brand new retail store in San Francisco, a move that is certainly unprecedented in the companies recent past. Apple’s clearly hoping to sway public, and counsellor approval for a project that has seen its share of controversy considering its original plans for removing the historical fountain in Union Square.

The 134 page document includes everything from case studies, architectural drawings, and image renderings to detailed information on the area and its history.

Perhaps even more interesting is the fact that Apple plans on using $726 Knoll Bertoia chairs in its courtyard outside the building (page 79). That’s just how in-depth this document is, revealing minute details like lighting plans and the types of stone that Apple plans to use throughout the store.
