Though it has been promised for quite some time, I’m not sure how many Android users were clamoring for the Apple Music app. However if you’re platform promiscuous you can try out Apple Music on your Android device. You’ll need to have Android 4.3 or later, and be in a country where Apple Music is currently supported.
The app is in beta, so it might be a bit quirky. Considering how much baggage Apple Music came with on iOS and the Mac because of the existing iTunes baggage, seeing it on Android may give you an idea of what a pure Apple Music experience would look like. On the other hand, Apple’s history of building apps for other platforms isn’t the best. Reach out to us on Twitter if you’ve tried the app, and let us know what you think.
