The CDC came right out and said what we expected them to: “CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms).” But with people running around eating each other’s limbs and faces, we need to be a little bit prepared, just in case Zombies are the real deal. Two maps have popped up on Google Maps, created by the Daily Beast and Newsweek, to track the spread of Zombies based on their attacks, including man-on-man, man-on-animal, and bacteria-on-man incidents (and the second awesomer map). At the time of publishing, there were already 13 incidents in the US alone.
What’s this have to do about Apple? Absolutely nothing. We just want to make sure our readers prepare themselves for the impending Zombie Apocalypse. The CDC can blame bath salts all they want, but we know what’s really going on here, don’t we?
You’re welcome. Now, if all other Apple bloggers and journalists would kindly hide out in their basement for the next year, they should be safe …
