Apple has just started offering the fifth-generation iPod touch via the Apple Refurbished Store. The company is offering a plethora of colors and both the 32GB and 64GB iterations of the iPod touch via the Apple Online Store. The refurbished 32GB version is available for $249 while the 64GB is available for $349. The devices normally retail for $299 and $399, respectively.
This is the first time we’ve seen the fifth-generation iPod touch hit the Apple Refurbished Store. The device features an Apple A5 CPU, a 4-inch screen and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. The device was released roughly six months ago alongside the iPhone 5 and seventh-generation iPod nano.
Apple is also offering the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB fourth-generation iPod touch via its refurbished store. These devices will run you $169, $179 and $229, respectively. Both the black and white models are available for purchase. This device was launched in September 2010 and is powered by a 1GHz Apple A4 CPU, 256MB of RAM and a 3.5-inch screen.
All of Apple’s refurbished devices come with a standard one-year AppleCare warranty. All devices are tested and have had their battery and outer casing replaced. Because of this, Apple refurbished devices look and perform like new.
