We have no idea why Cook, (and now possibly Mr. Phil Schiller) is in China on business, but from the looks of these photos, it seems that the two are out and about enjoying the country, visiting sanctioned resellers, and taking photos with their staff. Wait, what?!?!
It’s bizarre, but also full of awesome. Could you imagine having the CEO of Apple popping up in your store on a whim? Damn.
At the very least, it’s pretty obvious that Apple’s taking the Chinese market very seriously. The next decade is an important one for the company, and success in China and surrounding states will be the key to future success for many, including Apple, in the coming years.
