Can’t remember the last time you swipped left-to-right on your iPhone home screen to use Spotlight? Ya, you’re probably not alone. I can’t even remember the last time I used Spotlight for iOS. Given the applications deep operating system hooks, I never really understood why Apple needed App Stores in iOS when they could just build the search results into Spotlight. By the looks of it, Cody Sanfilippo has also had some of these thoughts and managed to put together an amazing concept video for Spotlight in iOS.
Apple, if you’re listening, give this kid a job right now. This better be in iOS 7, and I don’t mean give it the Sonora treatment either…
