Apple Clears The Launchpad For The Spaceship Campus
Mac Observer has the story about Apple’s latest Real Estate deals. This is actually in San Jose, adding some 43 acres of undeveloped land to their portfolio. This joins some existing space that Apple uses. As Mac Observer notes, this is more than enough space to build an additional campus the same size as the space ship they’re currently building in Cupertino. This space is currently zoned for office space, but Apple has yet to file their plans with the city.

Thunderstrike 2 Proves Hackers Aren’t Done With The Mac
You may want to pass on sharing that Thunderbolt adapter laying around your office conference room. Motherboard has the story about the latest Thunderbolt based hack. Essentially you can get an infected adapter that uses Thunderbolt to overwrite the internal firmware of your Mac. At this point there isn’t much you can do but get a new Mac, as it isn’t going to be easy to rewrite your firmware as a consumer.
