If you are a lover of movies, Apple’s update to the iTunes Movie Trailers app for iOS will make you happy. Updated today, the app has a few nice improvements.
Here are the updates from the Trailers app’s landing page:
• You can now choose HD or SD quality while viewing a trailer on iPhone and iPod touch with Retina display and iPad
• Video playback has been improved—it now takes less time for a trailer to start playing
• Movie tickets can be purchased using the Fandango app
• Additional improvements to performance and stability
While it is nice that the Trailers app can directly bring you to Fandango to buy tickets, its a shame that Apple can’t have a way for tickets to be purchased within the Trailers app itself (such as having Fandango baked in), and then dropped right into Passbook.
The iTunes Movie Trailers app is a great way to watch trailers on your iOS devices and is available for free from the iTunes Store.
