Jobs, the upcoming Steve Jobs movie that premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January, has been delayed for public release. The film was supposed to premiere to the general public on April 19th, 2013, but has been pushed back to a later date. As of now, this date hasn’t been made available to the public, so it may be awhile before you can see Ashton Kutcher play the late Steve Jobs in his highly anticipated biopic.
According to “insiders”, the reasoning behind the delay of the release of Jobs is due to the fact that Open Road, the film company behind the movie, wants more time to market the film.
If you’re unaware, Jobs is a biopic about Steve Jobs, the influential co-founder of Apple. The film follows Steve from his pre-Apple days up until the early 2000s when Apple was in the process of making its big comeback from near death in the 1990s. Parts of the film were shot in the Jobs family garage in Palo Alto, California, where the first Apple computer was built by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
