There’s been some speculation and some confessions by Nvidia about faulty chips and poor packaging techniques, and Apple has finally decided that they should notify the public and give us some direction to get the issues resolved. The solution, like every other Apple Care solution, is to take the device to a certified Apple technician. These machines were supposedly sold during May 2007 and September 2008. If you fit the bill, Apple is issuing repair refunds for those who have paid to have the issues addressed.
