Wacom has announced three new devices: the Cintiq Companion, Cintiq Companion Hybrid, and the Intuos Creative Stylus for iPad. The Cintiq Companion and Contiq Companion Hybrid are full-fledged, Windows 8 or Android powered tablets that have full Wacom pen compatible screens. The Cintiq Companion is for desktop users with a 13.3″ 1080p display that has 2,048 levels of pressure, front and rear cameras, Windows 8, and a 256GB or 512GB of storage onboard. The Cintiq Companion will be ready for purchase by October.
On the other hand, the Cintiq Companion Hybrid runs Android, has dual cameras, a 13.3″ screen, and is offered in 16GB and 32GB options. This tablet is meant to cater to the mobile market and is set to be available to the general public in mid-September.
If Windows 8 and Android tablets aren’t your thing, Wacom’s Intuos should fit the bill. This iPad stylus has 2,048 pressure levels, has built-in palm-rejection technology, and includes many different tips. This stylus is perfect for those who like to make detailed drawings and sketches on their iPad. We will see this stylus hit store shelves in early October.
