I was recently hanging out in a Mac-related IRC channel, and I spoke to a person that had a question about NetNewsWire, the popular RSS reader for OS X. He wanted to know if there was a way to sync his feeds between two Macs. It is, in fact, very doable. It’s built right into the app.
First of all, go to NewsGator‘s website and register for a free account. You now have the ability to sync your feeds into the ever-popular cloud. Next, go into your NetNewsWire settings, and go to the Syncing tab. Click the button labeled “Create account, or login.” Enter your username and password. Make sure the checkbox next to “Sync using” is checked, and select “NewsGator” in the drop down. Press the button labeled “Sync Now.”
Do this on all of your Macs, and then the status of your feeds will sync across machines.
Note: You can also sync to FeedDemon on Windows and NetNewsWire on the iPhone/Touch.
