Steve Jobs’ mega yacht has just been caught on video near Amsterdam where the yacht is docked. This video was shot by Michiel Frackers, an Amsterdam-based investor. He shot the video on his iPhone 5 and said the following about seeing the ship up close and personal:
“On the day after Christmas my girlfriend and I went to take a look. We walked through the fields to get to the former container terminal where Venus was docked. There were a few people on board cleaning the upper deck, but there was nobody else around. We took some pictures and shot this video with an iPhone 5. It’s a very unique design that looks much better up close than in pictures or even in a video.”
The Jobs yacht was impounded in Amsterdam temporarily due to a payment dispute the ship’s designer. This issue was promptly resolved earlier this week. Now that the ship is no longer impounded, it will soon be leaving the Amsterdam port to be brought to the United States.
Venus looks like an Apple Store on water, complete with edge-to-edge glass and massive amounts of metal. If you haven’t had the chance to see photos of the ship for yourself, we’ve embedded the Frackers video of Venus above.
