As the battle for top music streaming service gets more and more competitive, Rdio has announced today that it has rolled out in seven new regions, bringing the service’s total spread to 31 countries and five continents.
Rdio announced that it will be available in Asia for the first time, with the service now available in Hong Kong and Malaysia. It also revealed that it will now be available in Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Chile, and Columbia.
Any user that chooses to sign up now will also be gifted with as much as six months free of the new service.
Companies like Rdio are likely seeing the increasing importance to expand into new territories in order to beat out their numerous competitors. With the newly released beta version of iTunes Radio, customers now have more options and varieties when it comes to streaming music than ever before.
