Just because Apple is running its “12 Days of Gifts”, doesn’t mean the company has stopped some of its other popular App Store promotions.
Kicking off Apple’s first Free App of the Week for 2014 is the popular “Scanner Pro”, which allows users to scan documents using only their phone’s camera.
Scanner Pro transforms your iPhone and iPad into portable scanners. It allows you to scan receipts, whiteboards, paper notes, or any multipage document. It was praised by the New York Times as “perhaps the best app for quickly scanning and saving a digital version of a paper document.”
The app typically costs $6.99 in the App Store, and this is the very first time it’s been available for free. If you’re interested in scanning and converting some papers over to a more convenient digital form, you should check it out.
