Somehow I missed the boat on this one, but to be honest we’ve had MMS up here in Canada pretty much since it was announced. The funny thing is that I used it only once, and that was immediately after it was made available on my phone. I don’t see the big deal. It’s 2009 and there’s a billion ways to share photos on your iPhone (flickr, yfrog), so it’s not really as important as people are making it out to be.
That being said, welcome to the world of MMS, AT&T users! Oh, rumour has it that this little update torches your tethering work arounds again, so I’d make sure you do some research before patching your phone. I’d test it for you, but I’m in Canada where we get tethering for free–suckers!
