Justin West (jwest91) has been macgasming all over Instagram the past few weeks. He has amassed quite a nice collection of Apple gear. While I originally wanted to show you the shot of all his Apple packaging that he’s saved, I went back to the shot above. The iPod classic doesn’t get much love these days. It’s reminiscent of the original scroll wheel iPod that started it all in 2001. “A thousand songs in your pocket” was the tagline of the original 5GB iPod. The current iPod classic holds a massive 160GBs worth of music now (32,000 songs in your pocket?). While the iPod classic has fallen out of favor over the shiny touch interface of the iPod touch, it is still a favorite of serious music lovers.
