Lego Apple Store could become a reality

LEGO

Would you like your very own Apple Store made out of Legos? Well, that could happen. Using a platform called Cuusoo, very similar in concept to Kickstarter, the Lego company is asking for input for future Lego sets. One proposed design replicates the Apple Store experience in our favorite Scandinavian bricks.

At roughly 800 pieces, it packs a lot of details like Steve Jobs, customers, employees, iPhones, iPads, iPods, MacBooks, iMacs, a Mac Pro, a Genius Bar, shelves of accessories, and fanboys lined up outside for the new iPhone (note that the second in line is annoyed that he’s not first). I kept the gender spread of the figs even while using the more interesting classic yellow faces.

As of the time of publishing, the project has about one thousand supporters. It seems as if they need at least 10,000 supporters before the Lego company will review the design. Keep in mind, for this to happen, Apple would have to license their brand to Lego. Apple is pretty protective of their IP, so don’t get your hopes up.

That said, just knowing that someone took the time to create a Lego Apple Store complete with a miniature Steve Jobs with a black turtle neck and blue jeans makes us warm and fuzzy inside. What do you think? Is this the coolest thing you’ve seen since the iPhone 4S? Sound off in the comment section below.
