If there’s one thing that we all know about Kanye West, it’s that he has megalomanic tendencies. He isn’t exactly prone to being humble. Normally we ignore anything he has to say, including most of his over-produced albums, but this time, during a three hour rant, Kanye West has declared that he wants to pick things up where Steve Jobs left off.
From US Magazine:
Donda will “pick up where Steve Jobs left off,” West said of the late, visionary Apple founder. With 22 divisions of writers, DJs, publicists, designers, musicians, scientists and much more, the company will strive to “make products and experiences that people want and can afford,” West said, “to help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel,” and “dream of, create, advertise and produce products driven equally by emotional want and utilitarian need.. To marry our wants and needs.”
To that we say good luck, sir. Seriously, there are no other words to describe what we just read. None. Well except maybe this lyric quote from Diamonds from Sierra Leone, “I’m not a businessman, I’m a business, man.” We just don’t know what business that is yet.
