If some of Apple’s online services have stopped working for you today, have no fear. It is likely due to an outage that some users are experiencing with parts of iMessage and iCloud.
Apple’s official system status page shows that less than 1% of users may be experiencing trouble with Documents In The Cloud, Photo Stream, iPhoto Journals, Backup & Restore, and iMessage. Those with iMessage issues are simply unable to send or receive attachments.
The outage has been on for several hours now, with no sign as to when exactly it will end. If you’re one of the ones experiencing some of these issues, just keep checking back on Apple’s system status page to see when everything’s back to normal.
