If you’re like me and you use Chrome as your default iOS browser, you should be happy to hear about a few welcome improvements that were introduced in today’s update, bringing the app to version 28.
Most notably, Chrome now has “interoperability” with other Google apps on iOS. This means that if you try to open certain links like a location or a video link, Chrome can now automatically open these apps within the native Google Maps app or YouTube app instead of the web browser. The update should also bring improvements to cellular data usage on mobile devices.
