I am in the mood to give thanks this week, so I want to talk about how great Apple’s MagSafe connector is. Introduced less then three years ago, this little plug has made the computer-using experience of Mac users much better. We no longer have to worry about pulling our laptops off of our desks. Finding the connector port in the dark is a breeze. Bending pins is practically impossible thanks to the protective metal sleeve. We can see the status of our charge by the LED on the head of the connector. Most importantly, we don’t have to worry about plugging the MagSafe connector in the wrong way. This little plug has outdone every other power connector available.
MagSafe is now available on the MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and the new twenty-four inch Cinema Display. On the go or at your desk, MagSafe is there making your life a little bit less of a hassle.
