Fire up Software Update, Apple has released an iTunes update

iTunes has received a spec bump today, taking the application to version 10.2.2. The update looks to fix a bunch of bugs and errors, the most notable of which is a problem during syncing.

Basically, some people were seeing delays during sync. It’s not like the syncing process on the iPhone doesn’t take long enough already. The bug affected all iOS devices that sync regularly, without discrimination.

Open up iTunes, or hit up your Software Update, and you’ll be met with download information.

Have you noticed any delays with iTunes? If so, this update is for you. Just a friendly reminder, you should be checking your Software Update as frequently as possible. Heck, you can automate the downloading of new updates from Apple. Just open your System Preferences, click on Software Update and poke around in the settings.
