With the release of the iPhone 5, Apple’s new iPod lineups have gotten somewhat overshadowed. While the new iPod touch, nano, and shuffle lineups have been available for pre-order on the online Apple Store since the announcement last Wednesday, they can now be pre-ordered from Amazon as well.
Here’s a refresher on Apple’s new iPods in case you’ve been more caught up with all the iPhone 5 hoopla. The new iPod nano has been completely redesigned with a thinner profile and bigger screen. It comes in seven colors with an FM tuner, a volume rocker on the side, and it allows video again. New iPod nanos go for $149 and include the new EarPod headphones.
The iPod touch has the same 4-inch screen as the iPhone 5, with better battery life and improved camera. The iPod touch now comes in five different colors with matching straps, and go for $299 for the 32 GB and includes the EarPod headphones.
The iPod shuffle, though, doesn’t have as many changes. It starts at $79 and comes in seven colors as well. If you plan to get one of the new iPods you may want to consider Amazon.
